Returns & Exchange Policy
At 12theodore, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your order, we're here to help with our returns and exchange policy.
Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be:
- Unworn and unwashed
- In original condition with all tags attached
- Not marked as final sale
- Accompanied by proof of purchase
Domestic Returns (US Orders)
US customers can initiate returns easily through our online return portal. Simply log in to your account, select the items you wish to return, and print your prepaid return shipping label.
Return Shipping Fee: A $7.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount for domestic returns.
International Returns
We accept international returns. Items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition with all tags attached. Items marked as final sale are not eligible for return.
Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Accessories: Jewelry, hats, sunglasses, and bags
- Undergarments: Intimates and bodysuits
- Sale Items: Items purchased during promotional sales including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Flash Sales, and Secret Sales
- Final Sale Items: Clearly marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase
- Gift Cards: Cannot be returned or exchanged
How to Return
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Visit our return portal and enter your order number and email address. Select the items you wish to return and provide a reason for your return.
Step 2: Package Your Items
Securely package your items in their original condition with tags attached. Include your return form inside the package.
Step 3: Ship Your Return
US Orders: Use the prepaid return label provided in your return portal.
International Orders: Ship items back to our return address using a trackable shipping method.

Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or color, please return your original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you prefer.
Pro Tip: To ensure you get the size or color you want, we recommend placing your new order before initiating your return, as popular items sell out quickly!
Refund Processing
Processing Time
Once we receive your return, please allow 10-12 business days for us to process your refund. You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed.
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take an additional 2-4 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card company.
Refund Amount
Your refund will include the cost of the items returned, minus:
- Original shipping fees (if applicable)
- Return shipping fee ($7.95 for US orders)
- Any promotional discounts that are no longer valid
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll gladly send you a replacement or issue a full refund, including shipping costs.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged/defective item
- Description of the issue
Wrong Item Received
If you received the wrong item, please contact us immediately at buy@12theodore.art. We'll arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at no additional cost and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.
Package Protection
We offer optional Package Protection at checkout to protect your order from loss, theft, or damage during shipping. If you purchased package protection, please contact us directly and we'll assist you with your claim.
Store Credit
You may choose to receive store credit instead of a refund. Store credit is issued as a gift card code and can be used on any future purchase. Store credit never expires and is not subject to return shipping fees.
